Well, I guess I've always wanted to start a blog like this but never had the guts to do it until now :D
One of my favorite all-time advertisements is from a very clever company known as Heineken.
Heineken beer advertisements have always been smart and direct, but this is my ultimate favorite ad.
I love how it's very unexpected. The start of this ad has nothing to do with Heineken, but it shows how girls typically react to seeing a wonderfully filled out walk-in wardrobe.
Underlying their joyous squeals are the sounds of joyous men, done subtly as a curious transition to the ladies' counterparts.
Wondering why the men were screaming, the camera cuts to a panning shot/slow zoom as the girls walk towards a massive walk-in fridge, decked to the brim with a man's best wardrobe: Heineken Beer.
Heineken was in the last few dying seconds of that advertisement, and it was enough to get men all over the world to agree: Walk-in Fridge = Best Idea Ever.
That is my all time favorite ad, hope you can see why :D
