Pagani Huayra, Who are ya?

For anyone who knows me, two of my biggest loves in this world are Cars and Italian. I've studied Italian for the last seven years and am still trying to perfect my third language.

This Promotional Video cannot get any better than mushing my two loves into one: Pagani

This is the Promotional Video for the newest Pagani supercar, the Pagani Huayra (pronounced who-are-ya).
For those who don't know, Pagani is an Italian Car company that specialize in supercars that can rival the big guns like Lamborghini and Ferrari.

Dubbed as the "crazy" car makers, Pagani lives up to that name continuously by making cars that are expensive and useless... well, some are drivable in real life.

This Pagani, the Pagani Huayra, is the successor to the Pagani Zonda which is Pagani's almost trademark car.

Either way, the Pagani Huayra is one damn fine supercar :D

What I love about this promo is the way they start with the designer of the Huayra physically drawing out the concept design of the Huayra.

As he gently sweeps the angles and lines of the car, he speaks of the car being "shape to the wind". The movement of the hands really emphasizes the swift and soft wind gliding over the penciled charcoal image.

When he starts to describe the features being "an energy, subtle, elegant", the designer is still lightly bringing the form of the car onto the page. Then he starts to darken the outlines of the car as he speaks about the features also being "yet strong and persistent".

The image is more perceptible as a final strokes darken on the drawing coincides with the "carving of the latest sculpture". Referring to the supercar as a sculpture places the idea in the viewer's mind that this is a work of art in the Automobile world.

Simply stating "We are Pagani Automobili" is a reassurance the the viewer as this new supercar is serious material and ending with "Huayra is our wind" leaves a tantalizing image imprinted in our minds of the amazing supercar that is about to be unleashed into the world.

Ending the video with teasing angle shots, glinting lights and fading effects of certain parts of the Huayra only increases the curiosity in the individual to either do more research or go see the Supercar in the flesh.
